Take a deep breath in.  Imagine now that you are growing roots from the soles of your feet.  The roots extend in many directions, finding their way past any obstacles while they seek nourishment from the earth.  Imagine that some of your roots penetrate into the center of the earth, moving towards the iron crystal core, that place deep within Mother Earth that connects us to all beings.  Breathe deeply.  Allow this core energy to feed you, filling you up with warmth, with force.       Listen, now, to the winds.  Your arms become branches, like nets for all the wisdom that travels on the air.  What do you hear in these times of change?  What do you think our forests hear?       The ancients could sense the stoic teaching spirits that lived within the woody monoliths, the trees.  There they stand, grounded and deeply rooted to the source of their life force, whispering secrets to one another and their allies, the birds.  At times, these whispers are carried to my ears:  A call to unify, organize and resist; a prayer of compassion for those who know not the extent of what they do.        The witches, those wise wombyn of our mythical past, intuited that men, trees, stars and spirit were interchangeable.  They gathered in the forests deep, sensing the powerful teachers who live in the trees.  Observers of nature, they gleaned the importance of silence and stillness.  They watched as the trees cleansed the air with no need for recompense.  They saw the web of natural systems weave all life together, and noticed the delicate balance of the elements.  As the witches embodied these teachings, they emerged as Spiritual Warriors.       We stand upon the light of a dawn that brings the Sun of consciousness to the forefront.  Now, more than any other time, your thoughts and beliefs will shape the outcome of all Life.  It is a time in which the embodiment of peace and harmony are not only desirable, but also essential.  The mystery surrounding the year 2012 is revealed:  we create the future.  Thought is matter.        Unfold and unwind to discover and merge the Witch and the Warrior within.  Express the radiant compassion of the Divine Feminine.  Achieve the piercing, still awareness of consciousness through the Divine Masculine.  Activate the powerful force of the Kundalini that rises when these two come into balance.       Look to the trees.  Stand strong and root deeply into the earth, into your own innate wisdom.  Open your heart; dissolve the fear.  Join us in our sacred dance in the forest deep, and emerge a Loving Warrior for the Light.
