Beatfarmer Deep in the woods of a rugged little island, beatfarmer plays the music that drives him to dance. His love for dance carries him through many different styles of music and his passion is mixing organic world music sounds with beats that will move your body to dance and your spirit to soar... He has just released "Tranceplants", his debut CD of original tribal trance. Like his Dj sets, his original productions are filled with natural sounds, chanting, and organic percussion, connecting the listener with the traditions of the past, through the sounds of the future. Whether it's a world fusion set, a deep trance journey, or sacred downtempo.... Beatfarmer plays for the dancers.

Stephen is of the traditional form of DJ’s where vinyl solutions dominate the story. Immersed in the dance scene in BC for years allowed Stephen to grow and develop a true appreciation of the power of expression through movement. Stephen does not cater to a particular genre, but rather spins a song of vibrant rhythms that are told to reflect a story and energy that surrounds us. With a focus on dance, Stephen will spin us into expressions of beauty.

"There are three things in this world that keep me going strong: electronic music, yoga and friendships. I've been DJing for 9 years and have played at a number of events around British Columbia.
A few years ago I helped launch the Jyotih Network, a non-profit electronic music collective that organizes events to raise funds for charities in the downtown eastside of Vancouver.
Using Ableton Live, I mix conscious intelligent beautiful funky inspiring music that helps to create a positive environment on vibrant dancefloors."
Stargirl brings spirit to the dance floor. As a shamanic healer, professional tarot reader and channel she opens up the dance floor to endless possibilities. Influenced by jam-band music such as String Cheese Incident, Phish, & numerous hippie bands she brings melodies to the dance floor that are sure to make you want to dance and let go. Stargirl is always part of the dance floor, even while behind the decks. She’s known for her energetic uplifting trance morning sets and gentle landings. Be sure to catch her if you can because chances are she’ll take you on a journey you won’t soon forget!
"I was born and raised in the mean yet musical streets of Chicago or Chi-town, the Blues City, as we natives of the hood would say, by a musical family of performers.
I am a World Beat musician. I play Djembe (African drum), Tongue Drum and other percussion instruments. I am not a traditional Djembe player. My heritage is African American/Canadian. Being a traveler and a life long artist, my music has become a symbiosis of my cultural roots and global exposure.
Though primarily self-taught, my musical mentors include the master drummers: Albert St. Albert and Mandido Morris, who have become life-long friends and drum-brothers.
Djembe, the African Healing or Power Drum, and I met 35 years ago. Love at the first stroke of dynamic rhythm, would be an apt description of my music that has grown into its own unique identity.
The rhythm, the music, the song of the power drum, is spontaneous and thus improvisational, though musical themes are common and repeatable. The same song is never played exactly the same way twice. The intricate polyrhythm builds in intensity and melodic complexity while resonating with that most basic human rhythm, the heartbeat. "
